Stahl Vacations contributes to the Olympia Sustainable Community Roundtable, and participates in the alternative local and international currency projects Sound Exchange and ITEX. Stahl Vacations does a considerable amount of exchange through Itex trade dollars. The company also supports principles of urban sustainable living embodied by the Olympia, WA-based demonstration site Fertile Ground. Stanley Stahl is a talented artist with a commitment to creating harmonious interiors that feel like home. Each unit you rent from Stahl Vacations is furnished individually, a refreshing change from many units which are furnished to be identical. The fireplace pictured at right is an example of the work done by Stanley. Stanley works with clay, stone, steel, bricks, and paints. |
