DESCRIPTION
Kala Point Village is a fairly large condominium complex. The rental units are only small part of the entire complex, but share the resort amenties - indoor/outdoor pool, spa and comfortable lounge. Owners and renters share more than a mile of private beach in Port Townsend Bay. Tennis is on site, and a golf course is nearby. Port Townsend's Victorian architecture has bee preserved from days of ole when fishing and maritime trade were booming, now replaced with a booming tourist trade with an abundant assortment of antique stores, galleries and fabulous restaurants and bakery/pastry/candy shops. The Rose Theater downtown has been restored to a two part theater, and has some of the best movies to offier. There is a cluster of stores up above on the cliff, having and it's own individual community flavor including a Playhouse Theater. A boardwalk with an interpretive covered area faces back towards the buildings on shore, telling the stories with text and photos of how it used to be.
